One of my career highlights is initiating and securing the sponsorship partnership between FairFax Events & BannerSHOP for one of Sydney's most iconic events; 

the City2Surf.

Reporting directly to key stakeholders in Fairfax and BannerSHOP management, it was my responsibility to manage a small team of four in collaboration with the Fairfax Events team.

​

Partnership Objectives Achieved;

- Increase brand awareness, trust and creditability

- Launch & promote "WOW" BannerSHOP's Online Ordering

- Promote / Showcase quality & range of products

This was a contra sponsorship arrangement. In exchange for marketing exposure we provided to equal value signage for the event. Any other required signage was then processed separately.

As part of our marketing partnership with Fairfax we had the following;

- Branded Signage at the event

- Activation sites to engage with people

- Public Sponor Annoucements

- Edms to the Fairfax Events Database

- Web banners on the Fairfax website

- Mutual links to the Fairfax website

- Promoted as a case study
