 Cheeky is a conceptual Beauty Salon, that is a bold, energetic, professional and an innovative company with a sense of humour.  Cheeky informs  and empowers  the consumer through a health awareness approach so the client is able to make the best choices regarding products and services. Cheeky celebrates uniqueness... “We here at Cheeky want you to keep your own personal style so you can be sexy, confi dent, and a little bit Cheeky!

SHOP FRONT BRANDING

This shop front boasts a elegant clean modern design, that highlights that this is a sophisticated professional business. This area welcomes the clients before they enter the treatment rooms.

THE LOGO

The stereotype colour pink is used to identify with the female target market - to be overtly feminine. The ë"logo displayed backwards highlights in a subtle way that "cheeky"are different to the norm and rebel.

BRANDING APPLICATIONS

To show the company's personality the bags are playful using images of dog's in handbags and poking fun at carring many bags becomes "luggage". The company stationary is also seen as an opportunity to be playful in the same manner by playing on the pun of "snail mail".

The treatment cards tap into our health conscious society. This design campaign is targeted at informing and empowering the consumer through a health awareness approach. The client is given short facts and the solution to be able to make the best choices regarding the products and services on off er.

“Hate Feeling Prickly?” WAXING SERVICE PRICING CARDS -
The slogan “Hate Feeling Prickly?” engages the audience with a question that is humourous when juxtaposed against a image of a cactus. 
The audience is invited to participate by reversing the card to read the... FACT “Shaving cuts the hair follicle on an angle which is why within a few days the hair feels prickly”
NEVER FEAR THE SOLUTION: is stated below with another fact explaining that... “Waxing results last between 6-8 weeks. Waxing removes the hair follicle from the root which is why it grows back soft”. 
This quirky design approach gives the client all the relevant information to be able to join the dots to take up this service.

“Sun bake and you’re toast” TANNING SERVICE PRICING CARDS -

The slogan “Sun bake and you’re toast” engages the audience by juxtaposing a image of bread in a toaster. The intention of doing this is so the bread is personified and shows its vulnerability to getting burnt. On the reverse of the card there are current facts on solariums and cancer rates in Australia. Never fear the SOLUTION is posed in the form of a question, “Have you ever faked it?” (referring to fake tan of course!)

This eye-catching design draws from the expression...

“You're a lucky duck” often said when good fortune crosses your path. Humour is an effective marketing technique to stand out from competitors and be remembered in a positive way. This humourous approach in turn reflects the Cheeky company philosophy to be bold and fun loving.
